- Introduction
- The meeting began with the Chair, Joshua Hampton, welcoming new and returning members to the meeting.
- Joshua talked about membership benefits and fees:
- The $30 fee will be waived for non-first time students until this Thursday.
- The SAC Conference will be held at University of Cincinnati this year:
- The previous SAC Conference was held in Philadelphia at Drexel.
- An overview of last year's activities was covered, including: the Business Seminar at George Washington U. and the Applied Physics Lab Tour.
- New Business
- The student branch has recently received $100 from the IEEE Headquarters.
- Jeremy Putt, the co-Vice President, wants to host a video game competition in the Auditorium to utilize the big screen projectors:
- Entrance will be free for IEEE members.
- Dr. Conner, our advisor, proposed a rocket contest for the Spring:
- Entrance will be free for IEEE members.

- The contest could possibly be intercollegiate.
- The Chair discussed making t-shirts with our club emblem on it.
- After Spring Break, a RC Car contest will be hosted.
- Members expressed interest in having LAN Parties.
- Joshua discussed interest in attending IEEE Engineering Week:
- E Week is on Feb. 11 to Feb. 17 and members who are interested in attending should notify the officers of the club.
- The SAC Conference will host an Ethics Paper Competition.
- The club is interested in forming a subgroup for Robotics for a possible future entry in the SAC MicroMouse Robotics competition.
- Third Order Business
- Joshua plans to bring SPAC speakers to the club next semester.
- The money for the Electronic Kits Fundraiser is due next Tuesday.
- The Chair opened the floor to questions and comments.
The meeting adjourned by stating that there will be a meeting held on next Tuesday at 8 pm.
